ArkhiNet LLC ("ArkhiNet", "we", "us") builds a desktop application for network engineers and MSPs. This policy explains what data we handle and how. We've designed ArkhiNet to collect as little as possible.
Local-first by design
ArkhiNet is a local-first desktop application. The client, site, and device information you enter is stored on your own computer, not on our servers.
ArkhiNet does not store the credentials to your devices. This is a deliberate security decision — your device passwords and secrets are never collected, transmitted to us, or saved in the app's data.
What we collect
We handle only what's needed to license and support the product:
- Account & license data — the email address and license key associated with a paid plan, so we can activate and validate your purchase.
- Payment data — collected and processed by Paddle, not by us (see below). We do not see or store your full card details.
- Support correspondence — if you email us, we keep that message to respond and provide support.
The network and device documentation you create in ArkhiNet stays on your machine and is not sent to us.
How we use it
- To activate, validate, and manage your license.
- To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.
- To send essential service messages about your purchase or account.
Payments & third parties
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. When you buy a plan, Paddle collects and processes your payment information under its own privacy policy and handles applicable VAT/sales tax. We receive confirmation of your purchase and the license details needed to provision access, not your payment card data.
Data retention
We keep account and license data for as long as your license is active and as needed for legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Support emails are retained as needed to provide support.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email support@arkhinet.com and we'll respond in line with applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
